General principles

The Erasmus + programme for higher education contributes to the realisation of a European Higher Education Area by pursuing several objectives, including

  • enhancing the quality and strengthening the European dimension of higher education
  • increasing the mobility of students, teachers and academic staff
  • strengthening multilateral cooperation
  • transparency and recognition of acquired qualifications
  • the internationalization of European higher education institutions

The program promotes mobility in Europe and internationally for students (periods of study or internship), teaching staff, and all staff of higher education institutions.
It also facilitates cooperation actions through strategic partnerships, knowledge alliances or capacity building projects, joint Masters.
IMERIR adheres to the Erasmus + Charter for Higher Education and organizes study and teaching mobility programs accordingly.
