Graduates will be best suited to oversee networks and systems infrastructures in small and medium sized companies or in SSII (Sociétés de services et d'ingénierie informatique). They are highly skilled IT technicians.

As professionals, graduates of this program can manage the information technology assests of the company taking into account administrative, juridic, operational, and technical constraints. He-or-she can be tasked with networks and systems deployment, maintenance, and upgrading.

The academic program

The courses are distributed among two semesters. The first semester focuses on four units regarding:

  • knowledge necessary to define and qualify the needs of a company while mastering fundamentals in networking technologies
  • skills necessary for efficient organisation and communication in a professional setting
  • network administration skills necessary for successful systems deployment
  • best practices and usages of information systems for improved managed

The second semester covers four units regarding:

  • administration and setting up of enterprise networks
  • networks interconnexion and high availability
  • securing a network and the hosted infrastructure of systems and services
  • information technology project management (leading, communicating, deciding)
